How to Merge PDF

  1. Upload two or more PDFs.
  2. Put them in the order you want them to appear.
  3. Merge, and download the single combined document.

Order is decided before you merge

Files are combined top to bottom in the order shown on screen, so arrange them before merging rather than fixing it afterwards. If you do end up with pages in the wrong place, Organise PDF will let you drag them around without starting again.

A practical use: one file per application

Most application portals accept a single attachment. Merging a certificate, a marksheet and an identity document into one PDF, in the order the form asks for them, is usually what is wanted, and it avoids the common mistake of uploading the right documents in the wrong slots.

Merging keeps quality intact

Combining PDFs does not re-encode anything. Pages are copied across as they are, so the text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution. The merged file is roughly the sum of the originals in size - if that is too large, compress it afterwards.
