For JEE (Main) 2027, NTA asks for the Class 10 (or equivalent) certificate or marksheet, a disability or UDID certificate if applicable, a certificate of limitation in writing if applicable, and the passport of foreign nationals as PDF files between 50 KB and 300 KB. The photograph must be a JPG of 10 KB to 200 KB and the signature a JPG of 10 KB to 100 KB.
| Upload | Size allowed |
|---|---|
| Class 10 or equivalent certificate / marksheet (PDF) | 50 KB – 300 KB |
| Disability / UDID certificate, if applicable (PDF) | 50 KB – 300 KB |
| Certificate of limitation in writing, if applicable (PDF) | 50 KB – 300 KB |
| Passport of foreign nationals incl. OCI (PDF) | 50 KB – 300 KB |
| Photograph (JPG) | 10 KB – 200 KB |
| Signature (JPG) | 10 KB – 100 KB |
Getting your marksheet into the range
Use Compress PDF with the 300 KB target. A clear colour scan of a one-page marksheet usually lands between 100 and 300 KB. If you photographed it on a phone, convert the photo with JPG to PDF first.
Too small is also rejected
Files under 50 KB are not accepted. If your PDF is very small, rescan it in colour at 150 to 200 dpi instead of compressing it further.
Session 1 and Session 2
The bulletin covers both sessions (January and April 2027). Keep your final PDFs in one folder so you can reuse them if you apply for the second session.
