NEET UG 2026 document size: PDF between 50 KB and 300 KB
Checked against official sources on 25 October 2026
For NEET (UG) 2026, NTA asks for the Class 10 certificate or marksheet, category certificate, PwD/PwBD certificate and citizenship or OCI documents as PDF files between 50 KB and 300 KB each. The passport photograph must be a JPG of 10 KB to 200 KB and the signature a JPG of 10 KB to 100 KB. A PDF that is above 300 KB or below 50 KB will not be accepted.
| Upload | Size allowed |
|---|---|
| Class 10 certificate or marksheet (PDF) | 50 KB – 300 KB |
| Category certificate, if applicable (PDF) | 50 KB – 300 KB |
| PwD / PwBD certificate, if applicable (PDF) | 50 KB – 300 KB |
| Citizenship / OCI documents, if applicable (PDF) | 50 KB – 300 KB |
| Passport photograph (JPG) | 10 KB – 200 KB |
| Signature (JPG) | 10 KB – 100 KB |
Bringing a certificate under 300 KB
Open Compress PDF and tap 300 KB, or use the Compress PDF to 300 KB page. If you only have a phone photo of the certificate, first turn it into a PDF with JPG to PDF, then compress it to 300 KB.
Do not go below 50 KB
NTA also sets a minimum. A one-page certificate compressed too hard, or scanned in black and white at low resolution, can fall under 50 KB and be rejected. Aim for 150 to 280 KB. If a file is too small, rescan it in colour at 150 to 200 dpi rather than compressing it further.
Photo and signature stay as JPG
PDF Sevak's tools work on PDFs. Your photograph and signature must be uploaded as JPG within their own limits, so resize those with your phone's photo editor rather than converting them to PDF.
Check before you submit
Open every compressed file and make sure your name, roll number and stamps are still readable. Follow the size shown next to each upload box if it differs from this page.
