Trim white margins automatically, or drag to keep just part of a page.
How it works, tips and questions
Open Crop PDF and press Trim white margins to cut the empty border from every page, or drag the box to keep only part of the page, on every page or just one. Download the cropped PDF; nothing is uploaded.
Step by step
- Choose the PDF.
- Press Trim white margins, or drag the corners of the box around the area to keep.
- Choose the same crop for every page or this page only, then download.
Good to know
Trim white margins in one click
Scans and phone PDFs often have wide empty borders. Trim white margins finds the printed area of each page and cuts the rest, leaving a small margin. Use “Trim each page separately” when pages differ.
Cropping is not deletion
Cropping changes the visible area of the page. The content outside the box is hidden, not erased. To remove private details for good, use Redact PDF.
Questions
Can I crop just one page?
Yes. Choose This page only, move to the page and drag the box.
Does cropping reduce the file size?
Usually not by much, because the hidden content stays in the file. Use Compress PDF afterwards if you need a smaller file.
