Fill PDF form
Type into a PDF form's own boxes, tick its checkboxes and save it.
How it works, tips and questions
Open Fill PDF form and choose the form. Its fields appear as boxes on the page: type your answers (Hindi works too), tick checkboxes, choose options, and save. Tick “Lock the answers” to make them permanent. Nothing is uploaded.
Step by step
- Choose the fillable PDF form.
- Click each box on the page and type, tick checkboxes and choose options.
- Optionally lock the answers, then save the filled form.
Good to know
Works with the form's own fields
Many government, bank and insurance forms come as fillable PDFs. PDF Sevak shows their fields exactly where they sit on the page, so you fill them like the paper form, and saves the answers into the same fields.
Answers in Hindi
You can type in Hindi or any Indian script. Because the standard PDF fonts cannot show these scripts, those answers are fixed onto the page so every PDF reader displays them correctly.
Form not fillable?
If the PDF has no fields (a scanned or printed form), use Edit PDF to type text and tick boxes anywhere on the page.
Questions
What does “Lock the answers” do?
It turns the filled fields into normal page content, so they cannot be changed in a PDF reader. Leave it off if you may need to edit the form later.
Why can I not type in some boxes?
The form maker set those fields as read-only.
